Roadaro Driver
Roadaro Driver is a workforce application used by fuel-delivery drivers to receive assigned loads, navigate to stations and terminals, capture delivery paperwork, and report proof of delivery. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and your choices. The app is provided to drivers by their employing carrier; that carrier is the controller of the operational data described below.
Information we collect
- Location. With your permission, the app collects your device's precise location — including in the background during an active delivery — to show your position on the dispatch map, compute live ETAs, and confirm arrival at the delivery station. Background collection runs only while you are on an active load and stops when the load is complete.
- Camera & photos. When you capture a Bill of Lading, Veeder/ATG reading, or a defect photo, the app uses your camera and uploads that image to your carrier's Roadaro account. If you choose the Gallery option instead of the camera, your device's photo picker opens and only the single photo you select is uploaded — the app never reads or scans your photo library on its own.
- Voice notes. If you record a voice note, the audio is uploaded as part of the delivery record.
- Account & delivery data. Your driver identifier, assigned loads, timestamps, entered readings, and delivery status.
- Device & push token. A push-notification token and basic device information, used to deliver load and alert notifications.
How we use it
- Assign, route, track, and confirm fuel deliveries.
- Provide live ETAs and navigation to stations and terminals.
- Store proof-of-delivery documents for your carrier's records and compliance.
- Send operational notifications (new loads, urgent tank conditions).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your location or media for advertising.
Sharing
Operational data is shared with the carrier that employs you and its authorized dispatchers. We use trusted infrastructure and mapping providers (e.g., cloud hosting and Google Maps) solely to operate the service. Document photos you capture (Bill of Lading and Veeder/ATG tank readings) are sent to Google (Gemini API) solely to extract the text printed on them; no other AI provider receives your document images. Separately, text — the questions you ask the in-app assistant, together with the operational context needed to answer them — is processed by our AI service providers (currently Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google) solely to answer operational questions. Under these providers' commercial API terms, this data is not used to train their models. We may disclose information where required by law.
Retention
Delivery records and documents are retained by your carrier for as long as needed for business and regulatory purposes. Background location is retained only as part of the delivery/ETA record.
Your choices
- You can grant or revoke location, camera, and notification permissions at any time in your device Settings. Revoking location will disable live tracking and ETA features.

Security
Access is authenticated and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Access to company data is restricted to your carrier's organization.
Children
Roadaro Driver is a workforce tool and is not directed to anyone under 18.
